Dr. Dakin opened her practice in 1997. She is an Otolaryngologist Head and Neck Surgeon with offices in Opelousas and Lafayette, Louisiana;  providing ear, nose, throat, and allergy care for children, adults, and seniors. Dr. Dakin understands the need for consistent care. We treat each patient like family. Our compassionate, professional staff is dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible. Because we are physician owned, we are patient driven. This means that we can focus more on providing excellent care.  We provide effective care that is responsive to the needs of the Acadiana area. Although we do offer same-day appointments when medically necessary, we encourage making appointments as far in advance as possible to accommodate your scheduling needs. Our friendly staff will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding scheduling and payment arrangements.

	Dr. Kim L. Dakin, MD, F.A.C.S In 1997, Dr. Dakin and her family returned home to South Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, and then completed Otolaryngology Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Dakin and her husband, Andy have three children, Hannah, Joshua and Adam. In their spare time, they enjoy family, school, church and volunteer activities. She enjoys being back home in Acadiana. Dr. Dakin is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Surgeons. She is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, American Rhinology Society, the Lafayette and St. Landry Parish Medical Societies, and the Junior League of Lafayette.
